Controlled Environment Agriculture Company Starts Audio Blog Feed

Surna Cultivation Technologies, a provider of indoor agriculture products and MEP engineering based in Louisville, Colorado, recently launched an audio feed of their blogs. The audio blogs is in addition to the company's text-based articles, which discuss various aspects of the cannabis industry, from grow tips to best practices.
Surna Cultivation Technologies, who has been a leader in controlled environment agriculture (CEA) for cannabis since their founding in 2006, says the new audio blog feed is part of their commitment to "meeting growers where they are."
"The goal is just to reach more people," Surna commented. "Not every grower has time or the desire to read a blog, but almost everyone listens to something while they're working. So, we decided to make it as easy as possible for them."
Currently, Surna has posted twenty of their most viewed blog posts on SoundCloud and plans to have additional audio blogs published weekly. Cannabis enthusiasts are encouraged to leave questions within the stream on SoundCloud. Surna plans to respond to any inquiries, as well as other topics of interest, in future audio recordings.
One recent audio blog entry was taken from a webinar Surna hosted outlined the cost savings of LED lighting versus HPS lighting fixtures. In the webinar, Surna Cultivation Technologies' Jon Kozlowski, along with lighting expert Randy Shipley of RSX Enterprises, discussed how growers can take a scientific approach to common indoor ag LED misconceptions.
The webinar featured on YouTube has a comprehensive Q&A in which Kozlowski and Shipley. They answer common LED lighting questions from growers, including how to select the right spectrum and how to reduce energy consumption without sacrificing yield.
"Our goal is to educate growers," commented Surna. "The more information they have, the better decisions they can make. We're happy to provide whatever resources we can to help them grow better."
